In crafting this dream-like vacation home, our goal was to design a space where every corner radiates life and character—reflecting the vibrant spirit of its Chicagoan owners. A home full of color, never too fancy, where their kids could truly live, play, and feel comfortable.
As you walk through each room, small thoughtful details come together to create a sense of lightness and joy. The living room was a major focus, centered around a generous, ultra-comfy sofa that invites connection—whether it’s family time or entertaining guests.
The primary bedroom is a standout, offering a true retreat. We custom-designed the bed to sit between discreet oak-paneled doors, while a matching daybed along the side wall brings softness and continuity. The multifunctional TV unit doubles as storage and workspace, while glass-chain pendant lights and a sculptural 3D artwork elevate the atmosphere.
In the powder room, bold creativity meets modern elegance. A vibrant orange wallpaper sets the scene, accented by a graceful glass pendant and an expansive mirror that turns the whole wall into a moment.
The guest bedroom features built-in bunk beds—a bold and playful decision that adds charm while maximizing space. It’s cozy, fun, and surprisingly chic.
In the kitchen and dining area, warm materials and color accents tie the whole space together, rounding out the home with a perfect blend of modern design and welcoming vibes.
