A Waterfront Home That Balances Serenity and Bold Design

There’s something special about seeing a home come to life — watching the first design sketches slowly turn into spaces that tell a story.

This waterfront project in Fort Lauderdale started as a bold vision: clean lines, natural textures, and a layout that would make the most of the incredible light and water views. But what really brought it to life were the little choices we made along the way — the ones you don’t always see at first glance.

This is one very special project. Let us take you on a virtual tour!

A Closer Look at the Living Room

Every detail here was carefully balanced. Our clients wanted us to create a living space with a strong indoor-outdoor connection — a place where the view feels like part of the design. With vaulted ceilings and an open-concept layout that seamlessly links the kitchen, living, and dining areas, the goal was to make everything flow together naturally.

We remember when the circular chandelier was installed — suddenly, the entire space felt complete. It added that sculptural presence we were looking for without taking away from the view.

Inside the Kitchen

Designing this open kitchen, we knew it had to be spectacular. The mirrored upper cabinets and glossy black porcelain were the perfect choices to create contrast against the natural wood we used. Every finish was selected to feel elevated yet approachable — modern but still warm.

The warmth of the leather stools and the soft glow of the pendants made the space come alive, turning it into a place you actually want to spend time in. We wanted a kitchen that feels sophisticated, but still says “come in, stay awhile.”

The Primary Suite

It’s one of our favorite rooms in the house. The neutral palette, the mix of textures, and the lighting details all give that modern sense of comfort we were chasing from the start. Behind every detail, there was a lot of thought and fine-tuning. Even the custom wall design behind the bed was sketched and carefully refined until it felt just right.

The Primary Bathroom

And then, there’s the bathroom. The moment the black freestanding tub was placed, we knew it was the perfect finishing touch. Surrounded by marble and light, it became a little retreat inside the home — proof that modern design can still feel warm, serene, and deeply personal.

“Every project teaches us something new, but this one reminded us how powerful balance can be. Not just in design, but in the process itself. The contrast between bold and soft, structure and spontaneity, is what made this house feel alive. Looking back, every late decision, every revised material, and every “what if we try this?” moment brought us exactly where we needed to be”.

Stay tuned — we’ll be sharing more of our favorite transformations soon. Every project tells a story, and we can’t wait to show you what’s next.
